Prof: Daniel Marburg / Summer 2025
Jul 22, 2025
The course is a good course if you sit down and focus on it. You definitely need to set aside time to complete the practice quizzes, homework, and exam test preps. They are not extremely hard, just time consuming. Don't be afraid, it’s a healthy challenge that helps you recognize the world around you and how it works from a general business perspective.
I found myself applying this course content to my actual job and sounding smart in front of my coworkers while explaining supply and demand curves.
The professor was serious and to the point but gave out extra credit quizzes and answered all my questions fairly quickly, usually within the hour I asked.
Some chapters take double the amount of time than others. You cannot base your workload off of 1 week’s worth of work. Week 1 homework quizzes took me maybe an hour, week 2 homework quizzes took me 6 hours. There are multiple step questions that require several answers even though it’s only considered 1 question. I paired this course with a basic sustainability 100 and had no issue completing both while working a full time job.
