This course is easy going, and this course gives you the basics, and gives you a base on what college essays are like and how they work, and how college essays are.

A few essays. Poems, stories, and essays from other people used as examples for essays you will do in this course.

Cynthia Potter was a better professor than I thought. She gave good explanations on how each term we need in college essays worked. She is very willing to help you when you ask and need help.

Be prepared to learn a lot about essays. Essays in college are different and this course will prove this to you. But the professor is very good.

Not too difficult, just a lot of writing, just stay on top of your deadlines.

The actual content is applicable to future english courses and textual communications so its somewhat useful.

Teacher is nice, no cons from what I can really tell besides the fact she won't let you resubmit if your file type is wrong (not really her fault though).

To just be ready to do a lot of writing, I assumed it'd be like one essay every 2-3 weeks but its like half an essay (rough drafts, outlines, etc) to 1 essay weekly.
