This course is harder than "Beginner Spanish" but still manageable if you are motivated and willing to put efforts in learning Spanish. The second semester the coordinator was different from the first term so the last test was really harder than other tests. However, I would say if you study then you should find the contents digestable. The subjunctive verbal mode in the second term was not that hard if you get its logic, but put the correct accents with syllabes was harder. This course is definitely useful to prepare you certain proficiency in Spanish. But be mindful that you might still find taking DELE B1 exam way much harder even you complete this course.
The professor is nice, easy going and very knowledgeable. He speaks entirely Spanish in each lecture but that is extremely helpful to put yourself in an immersive environment. If you go to his office hours frequently he will be happy to help you. He will consider your participation grade if you go to his office hour a lot and if you are puting efforts on your best. You also get good participation grade if you do good on his Kahoot grammar quizzes.

This course was definitely not easy as a continuation from "Beginner Spanish". The evaluation was intensive; however, you will do well if you do all the works and put actual efforts because this is a language course. The first semester was okay but the second semester was harder because you will learn the subjunctive mode in Spanish grammar but personally I found it easier to memorize if you are strategic.
The professor was very nice and easy marker if you study all the materials. She definitely want you to succeed in this course. However, she could not continue teaching us in the second semester because she has to take responsibility for one week Cuba study trip. Her lecture was engaging and she will bring music to the classroom a lot so you will feel more engaging.
