Tests on top of assignments on top of project on top of exams. Needless to say: A heavy course load Be prepared to spend maximum amount of time on this course.
Basically industry level distributed systems in addition to the theory behind it.
Very understanding professor though and is passionate/knowledgeable about the material and obviously intelligent. Will explain quite well and in detail as well. Very patient. Needs to re-evaluate how much time a student can reasonably spend on a single course.
Attend every class and turn in all your assignments at least. Grading is not strict.

- Professors first time teaching the class - Course notes were a scrambled mess and jumped from topic to topic with no structure - Course project was orphaned from the previous professor, and TAs and course professor had no idea how to manage the project - Course material itself was extremely boring - Professor finished all items listed on the syllabus halfway through the course. - Professor straight up forgot to post the final. course format: 40% final 40% project 15% Midterm 5% Assignment
If you are in computer engineering do not take the class.
