Had a very logical progression and I loved the lecture book created for easy note taking. Quizzes were done on brightspace and you had two attempts to better your score. She used forums on brightspace to give students participation marks. Content was challenging but was very satisfying when mastered and did follow similar logical pattern of progression thoughout the topics. This class required many hours of studying, however methods and best ways to study for this course were clearly laid out. Exams seemed to be a very accurate representation of the course content, not too hard if you just put the time into studying.

The content of this class is useful for more advanced courses in bioc/micro/chem.

Violeta Iosub is amazing! She is so helpful and her office hours are the best. She loves to see her students succeed and is very encouraging and supportive, but also keeps it real and gives realistic feedback and strategies on how to improve. This course and its content was 100% better because she was teaching in a clear and step by step way.
