Midterms were made up of so few questions, the second was out of like 12 marks (something like 15-20% of the grade) so a small mistake with 0.5 mark deduction was a relatively huge hit to your overall grade. There was one question that was marked incorrectly on one midterm because the textbook it had been taken from had an incorrect answer. After like 2 months of trying to explain this to the prof (made very difficult by covid) and the TA who gave a very incorrect explanation and then proceeded to ignore me from then on out (all causing me at times intense anxiety), the prof finally contacted the textbook publisher and discovered I was right. Comments on the course

The lecture was awful. The material was all over the place. Dr. Elvira goes through very few examples in class, most of which didn't show up on our exams. Just teach yourself out of the textbook. The lab was much better. It will teach you a lot of neccessary practical skills.
