An utterly worthless course that will fulfill your science elective.

The asynchronous course has you buy a ~100$ online textbook/assignment software. Every month, you answer anywhere from 400-600 multiple-choice questions regarding 3-6 textbook chapters. That is not an exaggeration, and yes it is boring and functionally useless. The textbook reads at a middle-school reading level. The multiple-choice questions are for completion only but will make you redo any that you get wrong. This is, in effect, a course in which you read a cute little environmental geology book and then do about 500 multiple-choice questions every month.

There is effectively no professor for this course. Dr. Tom Brikowski hosts office hours, but the class is entirely asynchronous.

Do at least one online assignment every weekend. Doing them all in one day is entirely possible, but *will* take the entire day.
