The course content is necessary for the Mass Communications major. It's not difficult content and is just memorization.

An overview of mass communications in its many fields and its history. It's useful no matter what specialization you want to go into.

I would not recommend taking this professor and I'm trying to avoid him at all costs. Unfortunately, he is the only one to teach this course. He's a hypocrite. He is super strict on attendance and turning things in on time, but makes the day's PowerPoint right before class and is usually late to class. He also never posted grades throughout the semester. I was completely in the dark about how I was doing until the end of the semester.

Honestly, if you show up to class consistently you'll have it easier and try to do any extra credit if he offers it. If he violates the syllabus or any school policy I would recommend gathering evidence and reporting him.
