It is difficult to ascribe an evaluation method because this course isn't necessarily heavy in any respect like there is homework, iclickers, and exams, but I wouldn't say that any of these aspects are in heavy amount. The homework is through Aleks so yk, it is what it is. If you do good on the initial Aleks evaluation thing, you won't have to do as much for the unit modules but, honestly, the homework is extremely useful. On the evaluation thing, I only had a couple of the concepts down so I ended up having the do a bunch for the unit modules, but I honestly think that that is what landed me my A+ so yk do what you want. The course content covered nuclear chem, electrochem, entropy and free energy, acids and bases, states of matter, and kinetics and equilibrium stuff. Like it is chemistry like yes it is useful but like only to a certain extent lol. I think electrochem, acids and bases, and equilibrium are concepts that you might actually apply to daily life.

Professor O'Hagan is a good lecturer and she goes out of her way to make gen chem ii easier. Before exams, she posts two practice exams, with keys, that are really similar to the real exams. I would say she is pretty nice but idrk bc I never really talked to her one-on-one, but she seemed nice from what I saw in lecture. I would say her one con is that she sometimes goes through practice problems during lecture really slowly, but that is a non-issue for a lot of people lol.

Do all the homework, do the extra credit through circlein (you literally get money from making flashcards and stuff before exams and it will help you bc you are basically studying, so points+money+knowledge like goated), come to class everyday, and take notes. I would recommend taking notes from the slides before class and then just try to pay attention during lecture and maybe add some stuff. Practice problems, mainly through the hw, will be your best friend during this course. Also, this is definitely a course you want to stay on top of tho like you really cannot really slack off until the day before the exam so try to be consistent. Also, one of the 5 exams (which includes the final) are dropped, so if you do good on 4 of the exams, you don't have to take the final.
