The exams aren’t meant to reward learning or thinking, rather memorization that won’t come to use in the future. The exams are also set up where a question about sig figs is the same amount of points as anything else.

Don’t come into this course if you’re expecting to learn anything, at the very most, a basic knowledge of how chemistry works. You’re not tested for how much you learnt, rather, how much you can intake and spew out without knowledge

In my opinion, the homework teaches more application and processes, than the professor does in lecture. The teaching style is more to memorize, not think about chemistry. (Emphasizing on this because it’s sad that even though I’m doing well, I’m not learning chemistry)

I wish I knew the class was designed in such a way where it punishes those who learn and think about chemistry
